Nonivasi Care was incorporated in mid-2020 as a tech-driven company in the healthcare sector, aiming to build devices that support remote monitoring and diagnosis without invasive procedures.

Product Development: Pulih System

Their flagship solution is Pulih — a wireless, non-invasive wearable device designed to monitor and quantify lower back pain during rehabilitation. It includes:

A wearable EMG-based sensor.
A mobile app (iOS & Android) for patients.
An online dashboard for doctors to track recovery remotely.

This system helps healthcare professionals see quantitative pain levels and progress — making treatment more precise and personalized.

Start-up Ecosystem Support & Partnerships

Nonivasi Care’s journey gained momentum through startup ecosystem platforms, such as participation in Cradle Fund’s ‘Cradle Circle’ events where they presented their solutions to investors and mentors alongside other tech startups.

Academic & Research Collaboration

A key milestone was a technology licensing partnership with Universiti Malaya (UM).

UM licensed the underlying low back pain monitoring tech to Nonivasi Care.
This collaboration included support from Cradle Fund, which awarded grant funding to help further develop the device and associated software.
